A former Destiny’s Child singer who became a gospel artiste- Michelle Williams said that her fiancée, Arizona-based Pastor Chad Johnson, set the boundaries on their sex life as soon as they began dating.

The Christian couple is preparing for the release of their OWN reality TV show, “Chad Loves Michelle.”

A press release for the show reveals that the former Destiny’s Child member, 38, and the pastor, 41, have ‘vowed to consummate the relationship only after they wed.’

It stated that “Having been together for a year and never in the same city for more than seven days, the newly engaged couple is turning to intensive premarital counselling to prepare them for life together as husband and wife. Both are relocating to Los Angeles from different cities in the months leading up to their wedding, but not the same bedroom.”

During an interview on ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Tuesday, Michelle Williams said that “I’m not gonna go into marriage a virgin, I don’t want anybody to think that I’ve been perfect but I felt this was so good because I don’t feel pressure to have sex to keep a man and I’ve gotten different results.”

Williams, who grew up in the church, admitted that in the past she’s always been in a relationship where she felt pressured or the men were not willing to commit. However, for the first time in her life, things are different with the professional sports chaplain, who proposed within one year of dating.

For the sake of clarity, Johnson assured the show host that he was still very much a man, by saying that “Everything works in my life, nothing is malfunctioning.”            Nevertheless, the pastor added that he is sticking to his vow of purity.

Towards the end of the show, Michelle Williams concluded that “We have something to uphold. This is to anybody that wants to do their relationship, do something different to get what you’ve never had.”
